Just picked up a 2001 4Runner 4x4 yesterday. Even though it has 144k on it, I am impressed on how tight and rattle free it is. I landed on 4runners as a choice for daily driver/off roader after reading how and why consumer reports rates this vehicle so highly. I've always bought cars with my heart before, never with my head. Never thought that I'd own a Toyota because they always seemed so boring to me, but as I get older I realize build quality, longevity and reliability is pretty exciting stuff. It's silver with the sports package and looks bone stock except for the cow catcher and el cheapo off road lights, TRD cat back and injen intake. Glad to be here!
