Yellow Fog Lights Bulbs-Any Rec's?

I need to look at the damn date when you post. I thought it was last monday, not this coming monday. I'm an idiot. I know how you feel with the long hours. Between the fam and the job I think I get about two hours a month to work on the truck. I have to live vicariously through others with time on this board. Looking forward to the picks.

FINALLY IN!
So here they are! For $36 shipped, the SPP 80W are *SO* worth the money. Finally...some that dont freakin suck! Plus, they come with a 1 year guarantee. If they burn out, send them back with $10 to cover shipping, and they replace them! Go to the link in my signature for pictures.
Just a little note: the housing gets as hot as the headlights, so I dont think I will have an issue with heat. Of course, that is by using my 'Hand Thermometer" which can be found at Autozone right next to the 'Butt Dyno' I have.

Good to know Shaun! Glad they work. I am going to have to place an order. I am assuming the $30 plus shipping is for two bulbs? I would think so since the page says pair, but usually when I assume this stuff, I end up getting :whipping2 .

In my ride for over a year now, and they are on all the time when my headlights are on..... They look great and are actually quite bright. I really notice the yellow light on the road when I am driving. I really notice the difference when I turn them off...
When you look at it from the front, the color is exactly like the IS300's...

Actually man...no witty comment here! I had a ton of friends in Sig Ep. They were the burnout/hippie fraternity but they were all mad cool. They threw a killer "red death" party (aka-everclear!) and we would always invite each other to our parties. We always partied with them, and 4 guys there were my best friends through all 5 years of college.

After reading this post, i was pretty hyped to get a pair of yellow ION's 80w for my 4rnr... just ordered the puppies.... we'll see what they are like... but i really wanted a pair of yellow fog lights... when i lived in japan, it made all the difference in snow!
one thing i can figure out is this... HOW do you get to turn on the fog lights without the main driving low/high beams having to be on.... and i see some 4th gen's without the daytime running lights on... is that cause they didn't come with them? or is there a way to turn those yellow bastards off ... i changed mine to blue 4157 bulbs.. but Hawaii inspection station made me change them....
any ideas ????

Hey, I am rather new here too. Did you replace the head lights and the fog lights or just the head lights?

FYI....
Use your hand thermometer on the wires too... not just the housing or lens cover. Make sure those don't heat up too hot as well. I'm running 65w silverstars in my lowbeams with the stock harness. Wiring doesn't get too hot. Hopefully the same can be said of the 80w in the fogs as well??

I want to get the SPP's. I always drive at night w/ the fogs on & can't decide between the 55W & the 80W. Have any of you w/ the 80W's had any problems w/ oncoming drivers at night?
