Have read recently that many are visiting Yellowstone this year. Just an FYI - current issue of Nat. Geo. is devoted entirely to Yellowstone and Teton. And, best time to visit is fall, after major fire danger has ended.

Agreed with GSPRunner. We had a plan to only spend a day or two in Tetons and 3-4 days in Yellowstone. We started in the Tetons for a day, drove up to Yellowstone after seeing how completely overcrowded it was and the amount of horrible drivers and people in general, we drove back to the Tetons and spent the rest of our vacation there. I truly believe the Tetons is the best kept secret out there. Comparatively, I think people go to Yellowstone just to say they went there. In all actuality the difference between the two is staggering as is the level of enjoyment.
Cheers
