Yet another "Lift" Thread.

I recently replaced the tires on my 04 runner, and went from 265/70/R16 to 265/75/R16. Tire place was unable to order same size, and I thought next size up would be ok.
These wheels sure take up a lot of space in the wheel well, and I notice very slight rubbing at full wheel turn.

I am leaning towards a DS KT09117BK 1" budget boost.
This truck does very limited off road, use the atv for that. But would feel more comfortable with some additional clearance around the front wheels.

I was also looking at their 2.5/1.5 leveling kit, but think that may be more than what I need.

I am leaning towards a DS KT09117BK 1" budget boost. IIRC this is a 1" spacer that yields about 2" of lift. You mentioned ATV's. I making a leap and assuming an ATV trailer. If that's the case your 4Runner may look like it's dragging it's butt with the kit listed above and the trailer. If I were you I'd look at the Toytec. It's .5" thick and adds a little more than .75" to the front.


I was also looking at their 2.5/1.5 leveling kit, but think that may be more than what I need. Great lift, many have it and like it but if you don't want it don't do it.

I am curious, what model tire did you get? A small front spacer lift is a good idea. Corned have a 1" (of lift I believe) one.

I don't know where its rubbing yet, its been -15 degrees Celcius here for the past two days, and I'm not crawling under there to look right now.:nono:
