Yet another newbie lift question

Either my searching sucks or I just don’t get it. I keep reading about people adjusting the height of their lift. How does this work and is it simple to tweak?

The reason I ask is that I want to do a lift on my planned purchase but because of other planned mods (multiple batteries, winch, bumpers, etc) the height could/will change. Will I be able to easily adjust the height of the lift to compensate for the changes in weight as I add the other mods or will I have to almost redo the lift every time I add something else?

I would recommend a good set of coilovers, ala Overland Warehouse, ICONs, ToyTec, etc. This way when you add the weight all you need to do is add more preload via the adjustment collars.

the picture shows teh adjustment ring. you turn that to change the position of the spring, thus giving more/less height.
