Yeti 45 on roof

Moving from fl to Maine tomorrow morning
Gonna have myself my girlfriend my dog her cats and 3 kittens in my 4runner
Can I safely strap my yeti 45 to my stock roof rack (2 curved cross bars) or in between the cross bars

Can't imagine it would be a problem. I have a zip around roof bag that I have loaded down and strapped up there for 8+ hour drive. Killed my MPG but no concerns about security. Travel Safe!
