I am still new to toyotas all together i had a mustang for 4 years and sold it and got the 4runner due to growing family and have had it for bout 6 months and love it.. this is a slow build thread cause its the last thing on the bill list with a wife in school and a 17 month old.. hope you all like it and can give me sum pointers and sum ideas..

this is it about 2 weeks after i bought it..

first thing i done was removed the running boards..

and with my new nitto tera grapplers.. 265/70/16

about a week after i got my new tires my bday came and my wife got me a daystar spacer lift courtesy of ebay and paypal lol.. it is 2.5 inches thought it was alot at first lol.. not to happy with it right now want to fit 33s..

and 1 of me flexin in my front yard..

and now i got my newest gift which is early christmas gift courtesy of paypal again and its new wheels.. Procomp 98s steel rock crawler wheels black bullet holes.. 16x8 lovin em so far...
I also painted my front skid plate black with duplicolor bed liner.. and painted my tailpipe black with high heat paint..

ok guys so i get sum cash every year for christmas from the father in law thinkin i gonna use it to start work on my tube doors.. does anyone have any suggestion on wat to use for latches to keep em shut??

I know J-money$$$ built some. Maybe PM him. There's some others here who've built some, but I can't think of their names off-hand.

go with the 285/75/16. i just installed mine, i got bfg a/t's though but it looks very aggressive. i cant stop looking at it hahah
 
updates.. Painted my grill black no pic yet been raining.. and just put my new borla muffler on thanks to cj80cruiser...
 
Nice truck, I had a couple questions. With the pro comps what back spacing did you use? And did you have to run spacers? Thanks man, keep up the good work!
 
idk the exact backspacing on them but i dont have spacers on now but i do need them..

I am located in westminster sc it is across the state line

You still got that 2.5" daystar on there? I'm about to install mine and was wondering how the ride was and how long you have had the lift installed? Did you do a diff drop, did you have cv angle issues ever blow your cvs? You said the height wasn't very noticeable, is that true? :lookout:
