i almost spit my beer out reading this. The wifey has a 12 GMC terrain. the thing drives me nuts with the stock height and lights and nothing plasti dipped anything. when i did my lights and lift and to this day she doesnt understand why...sorry didnt mean to hijack the thread but im loving the 5th gen more and more.

My wife used to be against modifying anything. ..now she says she feels like a bad ass in her big lifted blacked out 4runner

Wanting to go very similar with mine but still fit in garage. Also I am 5'4" and done growing so this may too high.
