I Scrapped my order for the CAI, and instead just threw on a regular K&N filter. (Don't think you'll get me away from K&N that easy...) So I'm hoping you guys have saved me from making a poor purchase. If I do choose to go down the path again, though, what about the aFe stage 2? (With a K&N filter of course : )

Just stick with the stock intake and drop in filter. Nothing wrong with K&N just dont over oil it and you will be fine. Just know from a filtration stand point any filter that will give extra flow will also be less effective as a filter.

I mean I guess so, but it's pretty minimal on what'll get through.

I don't doubt that, it's just something to discuss and I'm sure there is at least one member on here that would pass on one because of that.

You made a Good choice canceling and saving the money. While I may not like the k&n filters after ruining several MAF's I do like the idea of a washable filter.
