I got all excited about a 3rd gen that's for sale with 156k mile and lots of new parts/maintenance.
Then I saw that the head gaskets and rod bearings were listed under the "New Parts"
Is this a warning sign to stay away from buying this car? Or can you have the rod bearings replaced for some simple reason?
I no nada about how engines work, i'm waiting on the owners reply and would love to know what you guys think.
After skimming through that 27 page saga from last summer, i'm thinking rod bearing replacements might mean something bad..
