My sister just recently got a 2000 Nissan Xterra for Christmas and she was telling me how she wished her car had a button to raise and lower the driver seat, like my 4runner. I never knew this but the button that moves the seat forward and back can also be pulled up and down, which makes the seat raise and lower, allowing you to sit higher up. I felt dumb that my little sister had to tell me this. Hopefully Im not the only one who didnt know this. Nevertheless my 4runner just keeps amazing me

Makes sense, the non power seats dont go up though.

Yup, it's pretty handy on long drives. After 2 hours in one spot by butt gets numb lol. Just raise the seat and angle it forward and then switch back to the old setting in another 2 hours and it makes long road trips a lot easier on the legs. Heading out to BC tomorrow with an 8 hour drive ahead of me, best believe I'll be using that trick.

Wow pretty glad I read this before my 36 hour drive next week! Going to put that trick to the test.
