I just joined a couple days ago, and I am impressed.
I belong to various other forums, primarily firearm and vehicle.
Some of the other forums I peruse have 2-3 new posts per week. Some, a dozen or so per day.
This site rocks with the quantity & quality of member participation.
You may all proudly applaud yourselves.
I am an old gearhead. I used to road race & dragrace cars and motorcycles. I was parts manager at several shops over the years, one specialized in Jeeps. Ironically, I've only been offroading 3-4 times.
That will now change (at 60 years old) with my new (to me) 2017 4runner.
With this forum, I will learn from your mistakes and duplicate them to the best of my ability.

this forum is heavily trafficked and theres always someone posting something new.

when i first signed up earlier this year, there was so much info, i had to put it in an email 'bible' string to help me keep track of it all. im still adding to it to this day.

a lot of the inspiration I found for my rig was through members on this forum. its not a bad place for your 4runner research.
