Wondering what other 4runner owners are getting for the following.
1. AVG Miles per gallon.
2. Time between fill ups
Include what year, model, engine, and drivetrain you have.
I average 16-17 MPG for normal driving (50/50 highway city mix) when I drive normal (I have a heavy foot).
I fill up once a week (luckily because of my job I don't have to pay for gas in my 4runner or my wife's camry, I don't even have to take it to the gas station, a lot attendant in the back usually does!).
I did test how good mpg I could get today, I did only highway driving using cruise (set about 5-10 over the limit of 55-65mph). I was careful about accelerating to keep the # up.
The 15 mile drive I averaged 30.2MPG
Most window stickers on cars with MPG ratings are optomistic, but the 2006 4runner V6 is rated at 17/21 and is easily reached and beaten!!
