Your other rides...

Thinking about sending the bike down the road to a new home. I hardly ever ride it.

My Current Stable:

2017 Tahoe Z71 / 2016 4Runner TEP

I've had a lot of cars over the years. For some of the guys in their early 20s or younger might seem like a lot, might be about right for some of the guys over 40 like me.

- 1993 GMC Jimmy SLS
- 1991 GMC Syclone
- 1993 GMC Typhoon
- 2001 GMC Sonoma ZQ8

^ GMC / S-Series years 1997-2007

Some of my garbage cars included:
1991 BMW 735iL (Europe)
1994 Honda Accord EXi (Europe)
1998 Jeep Cherokee (Upstate NY)

2004 Pontiac GTO (first GTO in Europe)
2008 BMW 335xi

When I finally returned to the US after a long period I finally started to settle down and realize what was important in life (The Position of **** You)
- 2008 4Runner SE V8

Got the 4Runner and was content for awhile then I slipped.
1997 Corvette (heavily modified)

Then I kinda got back on the wagon
- 2012 4Runner Trail

...and promptly slipped again.
2011 Corvette Z51

Got married and went through some other toys.
2011 GMC Yukon XL Denali
2013 Ford Explorer Sport
2014 Camaro 1LE
2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
2015 Suburban LT

Lets see if anybody knows what this is. :-)

At first I thought super/exotic car, then looking at the beefiness of the components/lack of a lot of "body"/is that a 4banger? - must be light weight , my guess is a tricycle contraption motor cycling thingy mbob

Too many toys. Need to let some go.

Ha. Texas TJ just beat me to it. Polaris Slingshot (with some under-hood modifications).

You are both correct. Alpha turbocharger/intercooler and other goodies. Hood is off in pic for when I installed the turbo.

Right now at a low 6 lbs boost it's got right at about 260 HP.

We're going to pull the motor this winter and put in Carrillo or Molnar rods, drop the compression down from 10.5:1 to 9.5:1 and put in ARP head studs. Then up the boost to the 9-10 lbs range which is good for about 310 HP.

There are guys overboosting modded motors and pumping up to 500 HP out of the 2.4L motors but I'm not that brave.

They have a decent traction control system but even running a fat 345/25 ZR20 Toyo in back traction is an issue. You gotta let it get going a bit before you spool it up.

And while I am certainly not comparing it to my favorite car, a 2017 Porsche Turbo Carrera here are some power to weight ratios to put it into perspective:

2017 Carrera Turbo: 6.10 lb/hp
My SS running 6 lbs boost: 6.65 lb/hp
My SS running 9 lbs boost: 5.58 lb/hp

My trusty old Taco and my daily driver bought it new in 04 and it's been problem free and still rattles less than my other two Toyota's!

Taco #2 and soon to be my 4 runner's replacement have a lot of work to finish it but hopefully early next year it will be done and the runner will be replaced by an LC....

I'm always interested to see what the other car/s members drive.

I'll go first... I may have a problem.

1985 Porsche 930
Did you pick that up a few years ago when you could buy them all day long for $25-30k? Now they are stupid money, see them going for $65-100k! Thanks Magnus Walker!

Mine, just a lowly SC...
