Zak's 03 Limited Build Thread

I mounted the today. This took me two months, 38 (literally) Dremel cutoff wheels and a ton of trial and error. And this cost me the friendship of my neighbors who cannot stand my dremling :wink2:
The color matching is nearly perfect. I could not be happier with ATU. It cost me less than 50 to paint the grille and I have enough left over for more painting. I'm going to color match everything. Maybe even my dog.
I couldn't get it to fit so I gave up for a while, but it just took copious amounts of trimming and playing with.
Getting the subframe from the 06+ grille to fit with the 03 headlights and bumper was a nightmare
One corner:
Front: (I may be ditching the bull bar and getting a smaller one)
The rubber is a bit smushed, but i'll fix that when I do my onboard air mod tomorrow

Installed SPC light racing UCAs the other day, very happy with quality of parts and service, got my alignment in spec very easily
heres a pic for proof. I wish they were flashier
To say the least, I'm jealous man! Let me know how you like them. They're my next big purchase. I just got an alignment though -_-
If you ever get tired of liking them so much, you can send them my way ?

Yeah, they're great. Much tighter steering, my caster is actually above 2.5 for once, i figured it was worth it to prevent my new tires from wearing poorly.

Just went through this whole build here. Looks great, a lot put in on the inside.
I really didn't have any plans on the doing anything with the interior, but, them blue and white instrument lights might have me. Love the look. Might have to give that running board light thing a try also, maybe the whole length. Just have to run wires as mine didn't come that way.

Where about in philly? I can't wait to get out, i graduate this year.
The blue and white swap was awesome, did it with [MENTION=46025]HokieRunner[/MENTION] who is a pro at everything and it really makes drving at night a hell of a lot more enjoyable. I actually ditched the runningboard light and wired white puddle lights into the doors, i should throw up some pics of that, i think it came out better than the running board lights. when my sliders get here ill definitely be adding lights under them too

Ok, I live in cali. I was born in philly, not sure. Mom married a air boy and when he got out, they went back there where he was raised. Short story, she left and divorced and moved back to Sac when I was 2. Dam, that's almost 50 yrs ago.
