ZPC confirmation

Hey folks! After a lot of internet searching, I believe that I need to perform the Zero Point Calibration, but wanted to get confirmation from others that may have experienced this.

I haven't really used the 4Runner much since the latest lift, wheels and tires, but the other day I did a U-turn in a sandy parking lot only to have all of the traction control stuff go absolutely bonkers. I wasn't being aggressive or anything... just turning around. Most of what I have read about the ZPC indicated that it was in response to lights on the dash, but I have none. All systems are good. I did see two posts mentioning that if you think your traction control has become too sensitive after suspension/wheel and tire changes that you need to do the ZPC.

I'm thinking that I might benefit from a ZPC, but wanted some more current feedback.

Thanks,
~Doozi

Doesn't hurt to do one either way, just make sure its sitting on level ground

I just did mine today, not because my lights were on but because they weren't when they likely should have been.

Prior to my lift it was borderline too sensitive, would kick in at the oddest times.

Post-lift, I haven't had it kick in once, even when I was obviously slipping:lookout:

Hoping it response the way it is supposed to, think I'll have to test it after having done the ZPC earlier today

What kind of adapter did you use to cross the pins? Homemade ?

Thanks guys... I'm hoping to get to this within the next couple of days and try that same sandy parking lot. I'll post my results.
