Wrapped the faux wood and replaced the shifter knob with a new one from the previous model 4Runner. Looks so much better to me. I don’t mind some wood grain but it was out of place with only 2 pieces...needed more or none at all. Considered the TRD shifter as others have done but since it is not a TRD, it just felt a little wrong.

Thanks! Fitment was pretty flawless. All the mounting holes lined up and it fit into place very well.

From a couple days ago, but I installed some Apex Overland recovery points. They come in red, but I sprayed black bed liner on them to keep my colors silver and black.

Installed the ARB rear differential breather kit. Fairly east to do, just time consuming when only using a jack and stands.

I removed the squirrelly folding grab handles above driver and passenger doors and replaced with manly solid gray handles.

How's the road noise on those compared to the Nittos?

Noise seemed about the same, no real notable difference. I only put about 30 miles on them before I dropped the 4R off at the body shop for a new door. I should have it back in 2-3 weeks, then we will be driving ~5000 miles from TX to Canada and back. I'll try and follow up after that (July 7th ish).

Ordered one of these Expedition One Dual swing out with dual Geri cans, ladder, amber flood/work Squadron Sports, and a hi-lift mount. It was the latch mechanism, hinge lock, and fit and finish that sold me on this one. Thanks goes out to Chase at Expedition One for walking me through all the options and the purchase process. And now the wait...
