Group buy for Doug Thorley PREMIUM VERSION headers, need 20 people!

I’ve made multiple payments to Doug Thorley on this specific deal. I had to front a lot of money way before anyone was charged to get this project started. It’s all In process. They also hired on additional people just for this order. I’ll try to update next week with more info.

Also, if there is anyone else on the fence I may be able to squeeze you in. I’m setting aside tomorrow all day for any calls just for this group. I want to thank everyone and Mafry for their patience on this.

So his cell phone is working, I assumed it was out of service?? I have sent multiple texts and also left a voice mail and never heard back. then he sent me a pm to get back to him with my
cell #. His in box is full and wont accept any more pm's????? I dont understand??? JASON can you please at the very least empty some pm's from your in box???? I would understand not answering texts but Jason always says to call or TEXT. For me texting is best so I was glad to hear that we are able to text him.

Just keep calling him and texting. you will eventually get through. I have had to call a few times and then text and he will answer...sometimes lol. Good luck with getting him to empty his inbox though, seems like he is busy enough just on the phone
 
Just got off the phone with him. Placed an order for a set of long tubes. If you are thinking about getting a set go ahead and get them while you can!

Jason was having some phone issues recently with this iOS update that came out recently and lost all his messages or something like that. He was basically out of commision for 2 days while that was going on.

Today he is available all day for calls!
 
Well, I'm happy to say that Jason has gotten back to me and explained that he was having a major issue with his cell phone. He's a great guy and we got everything straightened out. Thank you Jason !!!

I was ready to engage the obsessive mode but he picked the phone up on the first ring. I feel like I won the prize from the radio station.

And yes, I updated to the lastest IOS on my iphone and has some issues and needed to restore from backup and it was a mess, but everything is normal now regarding my cell phone. (Don't update an apple device if it's working fine and has no issues, my mistake. lol.

This is a timely thread; new member here, can't start a new thread yet. I have a 2008 V8 T4R. I've had an exhaust leak tick for a while; since I am busy at work and still have an extended warranty, I dropped it off at the dealer for assessment. I got the word yesterday that both manifolds are cracked and need replacement. Quoted over $4K parts and labor. The warranty company adjuster looked at it but wouldn't commit to covering the cost unless I authorized the work to take it apart so he could see the cracks (paying for it myself if they're not cracked). I didn't look at it myself, and it is at the dealer now. Can anyone tell me if you can typically see the cracks while the manifolds and cats are still on the car? And what is the likelihood that it is something other than a crack? From a few searches, it seems to me that it's most likely the manifold to cat weld. If I had to pay for it myself I'd definitely swap to these headers. I'm in MA which is a PITA for inspections until a vehicle is 15 years old, so I assume I'd need shorties.

Thank you for the update, but for those of us who were under the understanding this Group Buy was closing more than a month ago, what is the update on lead time?

At this point I would be anticipating headers to arrive within the next 2-3 weeks based on the initial 5-7 week estimate.

I know on Sept 27th no production for these had begun and wasn't expected to start the next week either, based on my phone call when I ordered and paid. I wouldn't start any estimates any earlier than that, personally.

I think I remember you (or someone else?) posting this earlier and I appreciate the repost.

At this point, I'm looking to hear it straight from the horses mouth as there has yet to be any updates from Jason directly on the lead time/production schedule. I would venture to say I'm not the only one that is getting frustrated with lack of communication to those of us that have already paid.
