Awesome rig! How did your new suspension work out? What’s the history behind the tunnel?

So far, so good. The reservoirs can be tricky to mount, but the difference in the adjustability is great. I dropped everything down when on the trail and it worked great. Anxious to see how it does in Moab in a few weeks.

The tunnel is an old abandoned railroad tunnel that was decommissioned in 1963. It has become a very popular jeep trail. I will be posting a video soon!

Crazy Air Tank System for running pneumatic impact tools

I think the system makes sense for airing back up quickly. Not sure if that cost/benefit is worth the entire system. Have you considered cordless impacts? I know they're expensive and you've already invested in the ARB system.

Another idea would be a spare tank that can be pre-filled before the trip, and "topped off" after use for air tools (just run the ARB for tire duty). The tank could be removed for non-off road days. All that verses a fixed system on the truck.

And just my ignorance, but do you need that many filters (for moisture, right?) in the system?

Air is great for its unlimited power supply for impact wrenches vs. batteries but the cost of the system plus weight is not worth it. Interesting idea about a loose spare tank that could be used on trips only... Still for the rarity of the potential use, it's not worth it. But it was still a fun experiment.

The reason for the 2 moisture filters is that when air is compressed, it creates significant moisture, both in the air hoses and especially in the air tank. For a steel tank, moisture will cause it to rust prematurely and will also do some damage to impact guns, hence the filter for air coming out of the tank.

Installed my Midland MXT275, Diamond mount, and have 2 antennas to use depending on situation...a 3db ghost and a 6db whip.

It took a bit of time to get everything routed out of sight (had quite a few interior panels removed), but overall it wasn't that bad of a job.

Brand? Those look great! Bit frustrated with RRW for discontinuing my RR4-V so I can't get a 5th for a spare. Debating on swapping out for a different bronze wheel. The Konig line has my attention.

These are 9six9. For the price they do look pretty sweet. I was looking at fn wheels, but their inventory is scarce. I'd rather thrash these wheels off road than the nicer konigs.

A bunch of wiring. First, discovered my BD S8 light bar I installed in upper grille had built-in raptor-ish LEDs that I just needed to connect to power:

Second, got ready for coming trip to SE Oregon ... when you are in the middle of nowhere, you want light to set up camp. Later, when you are relaxing, you want some ambient glow (maybe) that wont attract insects.

Mounted both white and red LEDs on my Sherpa rack as well as replacing the lights in the rear hatch with ArcLight LED boards that I can switch between white and red LEDs as needed.

Still need to figure out how to get a wire to the cargo area to run an extra light there ...

Here’s what I did for additional cargo area lighting. A white 11mm 3W bolt LED in the headliner. The wiring is routed through the hatch rubber boot. Tapped off the rear hatch lights, with a similar separate control switch.
Yet ANOTHER Cargo Lighting Mod

The red lighting is a great idea.
You could install two bolt LEDs, one red and one white, with a selector switch to power one or the other.

My black FN Six Shooter wheels have shipped.

Step one, I have my appointment on Tuesday for the lift and tires will be done on Wednesday. Tires are such a decision.

I looked at it in the garage. Waiting on the Dobinson upper & lower trailing arms. They have been on back order for a little while.

How hard is it just to get power to a light from the hatch? Is that easier than running a wire from the engine compartment do you think? I don't need switching etc.

I have two of these (one white one red):

That mount here on the Rago panels that I have in the back:

So I just need to get power to either side of the cargo area ... the lights have their own integrated on/off.

Really, I just need it for one side. I think both sides might be overkill (those things are bright) and I really only would use the red when out camping. The white ArcLights in the hatch do a reasonable job of lighting up the cargo area as it is.

Installed this guy today. So far I like it. As many have said, City 2 is a good tune. Sport+ is ridiculous; pushing the pedal 1/4" is like flooring it [emoji2957]
