These are good if you are going slow and are sliding over rocks or coming down on top of them, not extremely hard, of course. Dead on hits to the front of the LCA’s will probably not help much. I think they look cool though, IMO.

spent the week offroading and camping down both sides of baja. us, another 4runner, about 8 raptors, an f150, tundra, and a jeep were part of the group. the 4runners werent even holding the group up.

I noticed some grease slinging from my pass outter CV boot and while inspecting I found the boot is fine but the clamp was damaged by a rock causing uneven pressure and allowing grease to come out. I got a repair kit from AutoZone, cut the factory clip of, re-greased, and then found the clamp in package was too small [emoji2359] I travel full time and have no way to get parts I need shipped at this time so I daisy chained zip ties together and pulled them tight, I did this twice for a row of two. I’m looking for a more permanent option but I tell ya, this works great 20+ miles 60+mph!! I’m traveling from TX to NM today and will continue to check it.

Here you go. I'm also waiting on a longer USB-C cable that i'll tap into the cubby storage 12v and run it under the center console and infotainment trim. This way I can free up the USB ports in the front.

So I’m installing a king lift for my 2017 Got the drivers side done easily. The passenger side is a nightmare. I’ve done everything I could to get the bolt out that connects the Lca and the uca to the wheel. Ended up sawing it off and it’s still seized and won’t drop out. I’m thinking about replacing the entire part that the uca and lca connect to. Does anyone know how difficult this is

Purchased it Monday April 5th. It's a 2016 SR5. I traded in my 2015 F-150. We no longer need a big tow rig and we're moving to Colorado in 3 weeks so the 4runner was it! I want a fun daily driver/occasional trail rig.

So far I remove the SR5 side badges, dipped the rear badges, painted the rims and ordered a TON of stuff! All new LED headlights, diode dynamics switchbacks, BFG KO2s 255/65/17, 2" leveling kit and new grille. Having some tint re-done in a week. Long list of stuff but it's just the start!

Added the Trigger Four Plus in advance of some ditch lights inbound.

I added the Trigger to the Aux battery because I simply want to not load up the starting battery for circuits that might be used with the truck not running.

The install calls for options for installing always live or initiated by ignition power. In my install, I fashioned a way to choose both depending on my needs by providing live power AND switched power side-by-side and simply plug in the desired bullet connector.

I get all of my electrical connectors from Eastern Beaver. Pay attention to the wire gauge.

Bullet Connectors

These types of connectors require a special crimper as there is a crimp on the insulation of the wire AND on the wire itself. Some crimpers - this is one step and others it is 2-steps.

Finally found and fixed source of fine rattle under passenger side dash. Those annoying sounds similar to baby toy rattle kept on forever and the only solution was to drown them with music since I could not replicate them when parked. Couple of days ago I found it to be front upper piece of carpeting where it terminates behind lower dash cover making exactly that sound when it moves even slightly. I put self adhesive heat/sound insulation sliver behind that carpet and now it is finally silent. I drove without music and in total silence for the first time in years.

Didn't really do anything to or with it but more so for it! Ordered a snorkel, molle panels and a couple other goodies. I foresee checking tracking numbers daily for the next week or so lol!

Did a serious clean on the outside of the 2019 and tested The Last Coat Amp. I also, finally, figured out I need to clay the Nautical blue. Just so you know, I'm terrified.

I'm thinking I may need to get a variable speed for the polish. I've never used one. I will be putting The Last Coat version 2 on and the body panels feel like sand paper. It will be much better after my terrifying claying.

I removed my rear sliding cargo tray today in anticipation of a set of custom drawers that are being built by a friend. Going to lay down some sound deadening material and take some measurements.
