Rear outboard shock mount adjustment fun times!
Love the ORS mounts with the Dobs IMS shocks, my only beef is that the top of the shocks are kicked outward and get pretty close to the tire. The bushings also spill over a bit like so
Here we are with the suspension flexed upward and bumpstop just touching -- tire sidewall contacts the shock
Got over 1/2" space from the frame
Here's the hole as-is and where I want it to be, kicked inboard 3/8"
Drilling out that 11/16" hole was a PITA. I had to use a burr bit to hog it out, but eventually I got there. A friend waterjetted out a couple little stainless moons to fill the old hole location. The picture shows the bottom shock bushing with the pilot portion poking up just where I want it to be. *Jazz hands*
Shock is now in a happier location with clearance from the frame and the tire.
Extension and compression (I didn't try too hard to get the tire stuffed all the way up to bumpstop contact but it's close enough to confirm it's where I want)
No tire touchie! Huzzah!

Finally pulled the trigger on the rear window interior switch mod. I followed inspiration from this thread and followed [MENTION=91393]papabeach[/MENTION] great idea to just tap into the wiring at the ECU rather than back in the guts of the door.
I opted for a 1st gen 4Runner window switch because 1) I had an extra 2) it's small and 3) still OEM
Dang, forgot about doing this mod. [MENTION=120071]mtbtim[/MENTION], don't think I saw this one in your video library ;P
