Pictures of Westin Tube Steps
Hi. Do any you have pictures of Westin Tube Steps installed on a 3rd Gen? The stock pictures provided by the company are less than satisfactory.
I want to cut off my sliders and get tube steps. I don't need a lecture. I need steps for my wife. I want a bolt on product.
So, whaddya got?

That's why I got sliders that have a bit of a 'step' to them. My 3-year-old boys can get in by themselves... though I'm only lifted 2" or so.

My girlfriend is vertically challenged as well. I have pondered what I would do if I ever lifted my 4Runner. I had considered making a bolt on step that would bolt onto the sliders, but be removable in case of offroading so they don't get torn off while sliding. Just throwing that out there in case you need to retain the functionality of sliders.

Thanks Shadow427!
Also thanks for all of your inputs.
I've given this a lot of thought, and the sliders I put on almost 20 years ago never worked out quite right for her to use. I can use 'em to get up and get stuff on/off the roof. I'm not gonna swap them out tomorrow, but I wanted a better look at the Westin offering since I think they're the only ones left that make tube steps for the 3rd Gens.

Look for the flanges with two holes under the rockers there - I think there are 4 of them down the length of the sill. That's where the OEM side steps mount. There's a good chance sliders will still get in the way though...

Thanks!
When the PDX Snowpocalypse® 2023 is over, I'll take a look. It's 28* and windy today resulting in the wind chill factor being 16*.
