Is it too late for a tire rotation?

Hi guys!

It's been a minute since I've been on the forum (school's been kicking my ass). Wanted to ask though, is it too late for a tire rotation?

I have 33" Toyo Mud Terrains with around 10k miles on them. Is it ok if I rotate the tires now? I want to move the spare into rotation as well, but I'm worried the rest might be too worn for that.

Let me know what you guys think.

Never too late for a rotation. I’m behind on my rotation as well. I say go for it, the sooner the better.

You should be fine to rotate tires, but it might be too late to work the spare into the rotation depending on the difference in tread depths.

Any idea what you would consider too big of a difference? I can take a measurement this weekend

I would consider 3/32 to be my upper limit on tread difference for the largest spread. Your spare may have too much tread for me to feel comfortable working it into the rotation, but if you do add the spare in make sure to put it up front as the front tires wear the fastest. You can always add it in an see if you have any weird handling or increased ABS activation (if you have ABS).
