Any one have pictures of Green 4runners with painted rims?

I am trying to decide what color to paint stock rims on a green 97 sr5.
silver,gray,black,chrome

I have a 97 SR5 Evergreen pearl metallic also and am looking for rims. I want them black or flat black, and I will be getting new black bumpers to replace my chrome, black rock sliders, then a newer grill to paint body color. Id also love to see pics to that effect.

Gunmetal grey would be a nice touch,black rims are just too common now on every type of vehcile.

I just did mine graphite (green 4Runner). Doing two wheels at a time. Tires arrive tomorrow, then mount & balance. Will post pics when ready. Wheels look really nice.

While black hides a brakedust a little bit they seem to show dust itself very easily and I still would vote for more of a gunmetal or a tad lighter silver but I really like OEM silver if it's the Limited wheels you have.

I have no desire to change mine and eventually with the black wheel fad taking over OEM silver will be the new "different".

ChildrenOfBodom is this your rig? I want those same wheels, and was trying to figure out if I will have to lift my rig any to be able to run them without any problems.

Here mine with gunmetal wheels. I have since eliminated the chrome bumpers too. They are gunmetal also

I think this is the best looking color combo. Defiantly a way to make to stock wheels look amazing

Thanks for bringing back this thread, now that I'm done. Here are mine, done with Duplicolor Graphite and ClearCoat. Now the flare trim and bumper have to be dealt with.
