SS 1.2 and new MT tires on the way... SoCal lift party??

So I FINALLY purchased my lift and tires today: SS 1.2 plus some Treadwright 285/75 R16 Guard Dog Ds. Should take about 3 weeks to get the tires since I requested MT-R carcasses. I'm debating if I should pick-up an ARB bumper, but if I do, tires are still the longest to come in.

I talked to a couple folks that were looking into a lift party in SoCal, so I'm sending out an open invite to generate interest:

--SoCal, North San Diego to be exact (92025)
--Looking at Saturday, 7/24, as the date
--Plenty of room to park your rigs
--Some tools and limited air support; bring your wrenches just in case
--Kid friendly, feel free to bring down if no sitter (I have a 3-year old daughter)
--Two poker tables that would love to come out and play in the evening after a hard day of work

Who's interested?

Mods: I'll be moving the thread to the SoCal area in a bit but wanted to start it out in 3rd Gen. Feel free to move it now if I'm stepping on the rules, thanks!

I'm down for lift day, I don't have any real work to do on mine at the moment, but I'd be happy to lend a hand. Or take your $$ at poker haha. Oh wait, I might have my CBI by then so maybe I will have something to do on mine too!!
 
Nice! If it comes in, bring it down and we can throw it on!

I need to find a place where I can buy the bumper. Started looking but the delivery charges are nuts. Would LOVE to get it on at the same time.

Who else, who else??
 
Dang....won't be able to make it, I'll be hiking around the sierras that weekend. That's a bummer. But, once you get the lift and tires on I'm assuming you'll be wanting to make a run to test them out?

Maybe we can go 3wheelin again DOH! I mean 4wheelin
 
I really hope I can have my lift by then...toytec needs to get their bilstein's in. Still piecing together everything. It would be perfect if this works out.
 
So John, are you gonna get the Cragar D hole rims still or just run stockies for a while? How 'bout that ARB?

I looked into it. To get 4.5" BS, I need to get it custom from Summit as there isn't a vendor (that I know of) that sells the D-window in a 16x7 or 16x8 rim with 4.5 backspacing. It's actually not much more for custom ($7 per rim), but it comes unpainted. Would be kind of cool to have my own rim with my own color.

Yeah, I think I'm going to get the ARB bumper from 4WP near my house. :)
 
sweet! I might be able to make it. For me it's a 1 hour 54 mins & 2 hours 40 mins in traffic... Ill keep you posted.:thumb3:
 
The eagle has landed...90 lb in all. Just waiting on the Treadwrights now.

Of course, don't need the tires to put the lift in. :)
