Poll: How much is your scooped hood worth to you?

I wouldn't part with mine for any price really.

That being said.... I'm no genius.

Also, you can buy aftermarket 4runner scooped hoods for like $250 - $350 bucks.

Don't think for a minute all the wrecked 4runners get OEM replacements.

I've always thought the fake hood scoops on 4Runners were stupid. However, I wanted the 4wd options that only come on the fake hood scooped 4Runners. So... I have a hood scoop.

Luckily, there is no shortage of owners who would be happy to pay a pretty penny to swap hoods. You could get rid of that stupid hood and use $500 to throw into a sweet mod. Win-win. Let us know when you pull the trigger.

It would take more than $500.00 to convince me to go through the hassle of swapping hoods.

No. I've been retired since 2012 and I'm having too much fun to be bothered. And I certainly don't need the money.

And the scoop is a great place to set a drink or a plate of food. :fishing:

No way! I started driving in the early '80s when most of the guys were driving muscle cars with giant hood scoops on them. Even though some were home made contraptions, they were all awesome.

Hood scoops rule!

Now if it were just a functional one - for whatever - maybe blowing cobwebs out of the flux capacitor - that would be even better!
