The TRD ORP shows as 3K more than the TRD OR, with the Limited's front end, and heated seats. Nothing else seems added to be worth the 3K difference. Looks like Army Green is an available color for both.
I think there may still be some glitches on the site as I don't think it's supposed to be public yet.
I just found it as I've been trying to replace 2021 with 2022 for a week or so now and it worked tonight.
Yeah it's not good. I placed an order about that time as well but it hasn't been selected as of the build on the 17th so I have a dealer looking for a GX 460 for me as well. The next 4Runner drawing is on the 3rd and the deposit I placed on the GX will be refunded on the 1st if they can't find one.
I'm really okay with either vehicle at this point as I just want one of them.

The starting price of the TRD Pro has gone up, yet again. It's now $52,120 which is up from 2021's $50,745.

My local dealer in WI has several GX460 models on hand if you are interested in a drive. I picked one up for my wife back in June, they are selling them below MSRP.

I don't see any mention of this. Also the trd orp front end :mmph: wtf.
The TRD ORP has always had heated seats with the Softex.
I am not liking the Limited front end on the TRD ORP, though.
Maybe, but the TRD Sport also has the same Limited grill. Not only on the build configurator, but also in Toyota promo videos.
I suspect Toyota thought the TRD ORP would be more 'Premium' with the Limited grill.

Probably. But anyone buying an ORP will have a much smaller set of options for an aftermarket front bumper. The OR is now the smart choice.

Can you elaborate on the "drawing"? What does that mean?
I'd wait to judge the site as being correct. The rendering has obvious issues like the tire coming out through the bumper so I'm sure it will be fixed before going live.
There's basically no way that Toyota is going to have OR and ORP differ in looks that much.

I saw that too and said the exact same thing. Why put a Limited front end with its restricted ground clearance on a model that is more off-road oriented?
Toyota's allocation process is convoluted.
Basically, a dealership is allowed to have so many of each model on their lot depending on how many they sell on average every allocation period.
On the 3rd and 17th there's a drawing for allocation for new units by Toyota for the 4Runner. If the dealer hasn't sold anything they don't get any more units allocated. If they've sold something then they might get another unit allocated to them depending on demand/supply (which is why there's a drawing).
Beyond that just because a unit is allocated to a dealer that doesn't mean that if your build was next in line that it will actually be built as Toyota still has to select your build to actually happen.
As an example I placed the first '22 4Runner order at my dealership. When the drawing happened they were allocated 2 units but my build wasn't chosen so I get to wait.
This last drawing on the 17th they weren't allocated anything new as they have a '21 Pro on the lot and now have two '22 Limited's on allocation so until they sell the '21 on the lot (or the Limited's come in and get sold) they aren't going to get any more allocations.
That's at least how I understand it after researching this for several weeks now. Someone with first hand knowledge feel free to correct me.

They have the Panoramic Camera system available as an option on the SR5 Premium. I would get that if it was available when I bought mine.
This looks like a much better vehicle than previous ones. LED lights, Blind spot monitoring, Panoramic camera system. They may never get rid of this platform at the rate they are adding options and content.

I have a ‘21 with everything except the panoramic camera. Disappointed because my wife’s 2016 Murano has it and it’s awesome.
Does it employ additional cameras, or possibly just a software update?
