Removed the Stop Bar on the Slideout Tray

We really need to dress up the holes after this bar is un-installed. Here is the type of plug I was thinking about. Anyone know what size we would need?

They'll also have them in the Autozone on one of those spin around racks.

I ended up mounting a plastic tote locker and straping it the back to hold assorted goodies (tiedowns, tow strap, compressor, flares, xtra hats and gloves, poncho, first aid kit). The nice thing is I can still use the slider with the locker set up off the tray about a 1/4"

But, do you know what size I am going to need. I think it will look much better with something covering the holes.

Take one of the bolts you took out with you...should be a homerun then.
Or ask the dude working the counter...he's probably run across this one time or another.
UPDATE:...here is some plugs I had in my misc. bullcrap kit...don't know the size but they worked perfect!

I did the same thing...
On my new Limited (w/sliding cargo deck). After installing my Husky weather beater cargo mat, I noticed that the divider was raising the mat up a bit and I really wanted it flat, so I removed the divider.
I got a box of 15 for $4 at AutoZone (fits a GM fender). They worked perfectly and really clean things up. However, the only way I found to remove it was to destroy the top cap and push it all the way through.
I tried prying it up with a flat blade screwdriver; however, I end up braking the plastic top off. And then I was able to push it through and it popped out the bottom.
I don't see myself installing the divider very often (if at all) so having these things securely installed is not a problem for me.

I did the same, good call.
I removed mine because I didn't like it, but also because it started falling apart. Specifically the hinges, the plastic caps fell off then the little springs came out. Some of these were apparently sucked up by the vacuum at the car wash. Dealer will replace under warranty. Maybe I will just get the new one and take it off again...

My springs pop out all the time too, I don't really mind the divider there but am contemplating removing it just to stop finding these springs all the time.

I don't own a 5th Gen T4R yet, but am contemplating buying a LE 5th Gen. Anyway, my question seems to fit right in the topic of this thread ...
Is there any storage place at all in the LE with the slide out tray, to stow a few tools, gloves, jumper cables, hitch ball, what have you?

Should be the same as the TE and I have a cabinet on the left for the jack. I strapped some tools in there. Also above the slider there is a compartment for a tool wrap. On the right side there is a bigger compartment that can hold a tow ball, etc.

My one regret is that there are no latches to actually hold the top down, so I ended up using some snap latch thingies.
Remember to secure it as well, I drilled a couple of 1/4" holes on the front corners and used 2 bungee cords to hook it up against the rear seat using the available floor hooks.

They are referring to the "cargo stop" bar. If you look at the tray from the back of your truck, it's all the way at the back portion. (You can flip it up and down, kinda like one of those giant binder clips, on my truck i use it to keep the carpet from sliding around on top of the tray as this "bar" goes over the carpet). It's not on the side you pull on, rather the back side of the tray (still on TOP of the tray). It has 4 "spring" clip things that "hinges it". It's the only thing that "moves'" on the tray except for the tray itself. Make sense? You can remove it so that you don't have a "bump" in the tray so you can lay things flat.

Right. But the cargo stop is an option. My 2011 TE came without. Had it come with, removing would have been my first mod.
