Guess mine didnt come with it. My floor has been flat the whole time and I dont have to flip anything. I would like to build a little gap table thing to place in the space between the tray when its extended and the 'secret' storage space so I could totally stretch out back there with the tailgate open. Anybody do that yet?

Yeah, if you're floor's flat you don't have it. Honestly, nearly every member here has removed thiers anyway so the floor can be flat. I'm probably one of the last holdouts, I just haven't bothered to mess with it yet. lol

HAHA! Im suprised kind of that nobody has done it. I just thought about it today while looking for that bar. If/when I do it I will post a write-up on it to see if there is interest.

I think they may have did away with them as "standard", I can't confirm. You can still purchase the cargo stop seperately. It's on the Toyota website.

My 2011 looks just like the pictures earlier in this thread after the slide-bar was taken out, but without the holes in the tray where it used to be. I agree that the stop-bar must be an option now, as none of the 2011's I looked at had one.
Funny to hear that after so many people went to the trouble to remove the stop-bar in 2010, now some of the 2011 folks are looking to build a mod that essentially adds it back.
I've thought about removing it but I haven't convinced myself it would be worth doing so.
I wish it was easy to remove and reinstall, like the cargo cover etc. When I've had to sleep in the truck it's in the way, but the rest of the time I keep it raised and use the space between it and the rear seats to store my essentials, cables, etc etc....

No..it doesn't slide with it.
One way to alleviate that would be to build up the sliding part of the platform about a 1/4', and then cut a piece the size of the bottom of the container or box. That would allow it to "pass" over the area where the compartment is....but then you would have to hook it to the sliding platform itself, so they slide as a unit.
Maybe glue some rubber material to keep it from sliding. Most times I find myself with the backseats down, and box up against the front seats. I'm attaching the bungees to loops that you pull the seat up with.
I found that when it's not connected it wants to slide all over hell, and I don't want to ding or scratch the interior paint job up.

So there's no hooks to attach the cargo net? I removed the bar but was going to re-install the metal rail with the hooks for the net. I didn't find the right sized bolts and now I'm liking it without anything there.
When I first looked at 2010's on the lot in Jan of 10, all of them had it. But when the one I requested was delivered in late Feb of 10, the stop bar was not included......

Someone needs to post photos. I've got 2012 TE with the tray and I can't figure out what "stop" everyone is talking about.

I believe they were standard on the 2010s with the slide out tray, but became an accessory for the 2011+ models. My 2011 TE didn't come with it. I did add it though and find it keeps things from falling off and under the tray when it's pulled out. You can lay it flat if you need to. It also adds two tie down points to the tray which, when used with the tie down points on the latch side of the tray allow you to secure cargo to the tray itself, not the corners of the cargo area.
