Those of you that ship a lot...Where do you get your boxes??

Like the title says, I find myself constantly shipping stuff for people on CL, different forums, etc. and until now have had plenty of boxes. Now that I've ran out, it seems like most places charge a crazy amount, like UPS. Sometimes it seems like just the box itself costs more than what's inside.

Any ideas where to get cheap/free boxes?

I just use a bunch of leftover boxes from amazon. But you should check out U-Line for boxes, the company I work for gets thousands of boxes for super cheap.

The flat-rate boxes from USPS are free.

Go to liquor stores. They throw lots of boxes away and those are usually very strong boxes given their contents and weight they carry.

I get them from my dad's work, but I actually just discovered Walmart sells very cheap shipping boxes. I forget where in the store they have them, but it was like a rack with a ton of shipping supplies. Very cheap.

Here is one example, $1.32, with other sizes available. But free boxes from a friends work are always the best

Also look on craigslist, I've seen either companies or people list them as FREE.

I'd check out Wal-Mart in Sonora for boxes or Home Depot sells boxes for cheap. I'll typically buy Home Depot boxes and cut them down to make them fit for larger stuff. Otherwise liquor stores and grocery stores usually have some laying around.

For large boxes look in the Dumpsters at Furniture Stores. I found a box big enough to ship my stock front bumper after I installed my ARB.
