Made in USA air pump for tires?

Ok, ok. I know you said not made in China. So please feel free to completely ignore my post..
But i have had a VIair portable compressor for like 3 years now. use it quite often, and it has never skipped a beat. it still has the original air filter on it, that still looks good.
I believe it was the 400P module or something. It is a GREAT little compressor.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I looked at the Viair and it looks very good. Am not yet into off-roading and my needs are actually fairly light so I broke down and went a cheap(er) route and picked up a Pittsburgh Automotive portable at Harbor Freight. Appreciate the inputs - it motivated me to do more research.

+1 for VIAIR. I have the 400P auto. I ended up modifying mine. I got rid of the bottom plate but kept the rubber feet and replaced the curly hose with a standard non curly quick connect air hose

i recently bought the Maxi Trac compressor....the amount of air it puts out is awesome. I have used it to several times and it even has enough volume and pressure to "blow off" stuff. recently used it to clean out a bunch anchor holes drilled into concrete. I retired the Harbor freight to the LC100 daily driver. Mounted the Maxi under the hood of the 4r, its big for sure, and barely fits. Plus it was only $100. price is steady going up on it though...128 now.

There are a few compressors that aren't plug and play for consumers, but could adapted pretty easily, that are still made in the USA. Firestone still makes some here and Thomas all here, last I knew. Believe Gast does also although the smaller ones from them I've seen were all China. None of these are cheap
