Indel-B Fridge/Freezer Sale - Spring 2017

GROUP BUY IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED

UPDATE - 28 July 2017

Effective 31 July this long running deal will end.

If you still want in on this you have until 11:59 PM EST Sunday July 30th to submit your order.

On Monday this discount is dead. If you missed out on this sale, wait for the next one.

This sale ran for four months so don't be the guy pestering the vendor for a discount after the deal is over.

UPDATE

The good people at TruckFridge would like me to stress that the mounting bracket and fridge slide ARE NOT included in the discounted pricing. Do not ask for a discount on those items. If either item shows up on the product page then it is in stock but you will pay full price.

Figured I should make my first thread stand out, so why not a group buy!?! Well, a group buy of sorts. I reached out to TruckFridge to see if they would be interested and they decided to do one better and offer an open sale using a discount code.

This sale will run for as long as the vendor decides. The next possible sale TruckFridge will have will not be until the holiday season. Maybe.

This sale is a significant discount on ALL Indel-B Portable Fridge/Freezers and includes free shipping to the lower 48. The shipping alone is a savings of $50. TruckFridge does not ship outside of the lower 48. All addresses must be able to receive FedEx deliveries, no P.O. Boxes. Kentucky residents pay sales tax.

If you want to read up on these fridges here are a few links:

Here's the info straight from the TruckFridge rep:

Quote:

We promise you will get everything we are offering! If you use PayPal to process your transaction, we will refund you the difference in the fees.

TruckFridge.com

The mounting bracket and fridge slide are not included included in the discounted pricing. First come, first served and full price on those items. If you don't see either one of those items on the product page then they are currently out of stock.

Fridge/Freezer covers are not available from TruckFridge. However, Ironman 4x4 fridges are rebranded Indel-Bs and the covers are an exact fit.

Once you place your order please make a post stating so. I'll add a list of all the buyers so potential future group buys can reference this thread to gauge general interest in the Indel-B products.

If you have any questions, read through this post again. If you still have questions after that, post it up for all to see.

I've been waiting for another scratch & dent deal on an Edgestar, but I may have to bite on the TB51. I will update this post when/if I order.

Edit: I caved in. It's only money...ha. +1 TB51.

Ordered a 51. Great deal and I'm about tired of my Whynter 45qt not being up to par.

Nice , I was about to mention you too lol.
I'm pretty tempted as I'm sick of dealing with ice, but don't have a dual battery system in the cards yet

If you spend a lot of time with the engine running, you may be fine. I ran a 63qt Edgestar on a single battery ('07 GX470, 27F) and it was okay running overnight while parked (driving throughout the day kept the battery up).

I debated all morning before I finally just pulled the trigger. The Whynter is gonna be up for sale soon, but you don't want that piece of shit. hahah. Good for the garage, not so good for camping if you're in and out of it all the time.

You don't need a dual battery, I am running a deep cycle and have had zero issues. I have a small jump pack just in case. As long as you drive a little every day or so it's fine (with a deep cycle).

For others I am very happy with my Indel B TB41, I've had it a year and it did great last summer on a 3 week road trip through 90-100 degree daily highs.

Good to know. My Whynter 45qt has problems when the ambient temp gets above 90.

Sears diehard platinum which they don't make anymore, pretty sure it was a rebranded Odyssey, stock size. Yes I ran it 24/7 in the summer, it couldn't make it Friday afternoon to Monday morning, but could make it to Sunday morning without starting. The Indel B seems to be a really good and fairly efficient fridge (wired straight to the battery). I have an Antigravity jump pack, the Noco are popular around here as well.

Did a three week road trip last summer, coolest day was in the 80's, hottest was 122 in Phoenix, had to run it in Eco mode versus Max but it did great and the beer was always cold.

Fwiw I got a dometic slide for my fridge, seems to fit pretty well, just setting that up now, the cheap mounting plate they sell is not great.

Yup, go ahead and order online or call and just make sure to use or mention the promo code TOYOTA.

The jump pack is my plan until I eventually get around to a dual battery setup. I figure it should be fine as I'll be driving every day when the fridge is in use and I don't intend to run the voltage protection at the lowest setting or have the freezer running below freezing.
