has anyone taken out the driveshaft before? I'm looking to do it at home in the garage and try to replace the front u-joint. Any advice/links/or explanations will be greatly appreciated.

looks like it is very likely the cross bearing(s) that connects the U-joints. Has anyone replaced one before? How easy/hard is it?

I'm pretty sure there's metallic black cladding that came with the black 4runner limiteds. It looks pretty close to black. There are also black fenders that came with the newest 3rd gen black SR5 models

Hi, I have some issues with the car. Under low rpm acceleration, the car rumbles and vibrates badly, and goes away slightly at higher rpms. It also vibrates when my foot is on the pedal, but goes away when I let off the pedal. It also makes a clunk when I change from park to drive, or reverse...

hmm the fan clutch is the thing that holds and spins the radiator fan in the front, correct? If that was the problem, wouldn't the sound be consistent in every gear? :(
