went to get fuel today...the pump nozzle got stuck in the 4runner's fuel inlet. i've never had this before and had to literally apply a lot of force to get it out of the vehicle. secondly, i noticed that there wasn't a "small door" (by door i mean after you unscrew the fuel cap and look down...

i have gotten many door dings...maybe 4 in the last year. the metal on the 4runner seems to be ultra thin. i actually can't prove door dings, could have been the kids for some of them. sometimes it seems if you look at the car wrong the steel bends. but just wanted to get everyone's pulse on...

my level sits just below the F line most of the time and almost right at it when done driving...

went to the dealer this am...they pressure tested it for 45 minutes. no leaks. they believe that due to the extreme heat we are having it may have briefly leaked out of the reservoir. which is where the smell is. they cleaned it up and i didn't smell it after driving...

i just rechecked. the smell definitely is near the radiator overflow. the cap and everything are on tight there...

my 4runner has about 25k miles on it (2016 limited). I have noticed a faint smell of coolant the last couple times of driving (after walking around the front of the 4runner - is when i smelled it). Levels in the overflow are exactly the same. is this common? i see if the older forum postings...

Did you ever figure out how to get the flag on the front bumper for silver lake? 5th gen...

the entune unit rebooted on its own today (twice)...wondering if bluetooth crashed as my phone was connected to it.

just curious...read something about the new wranglers being galvanized and they are having serious frame welding issues. missed welds, porous, rusting, etc...lots of pics on the interwebs...can't believe any of the new jl wranglers made it out of quality control. waiting for that to stabilize...

Do the 5th gen (2016 in my case) 4Runners have a galvanized frame?

I have seen many threads on this topic. Simple question I hope: can you go to the Stock sr5 or trd pro tires and wheels if you have a Limited. Of course the answer is yes. But is there any functional drawbacks. Meaning if i walked into the dealer and said i want the stock sr5 wheels and tires...

Can't beat the limited if you have snow, etc. All wheel drive gives a lot of peace of mind if you commute with this vehicle.

the weather stripping under one of the side rails (Top of vehicle) partially came off today. Had to pull it off to dry off everything. Assuming this may be there just for looks? curious if this is common...etc.
