What all is involved in separating the bottom piece from the rest to the trim?

Right now mine is blowing hot and I am not ready to chance it and test to see if the blend door is working or not

It seems to be working fine now, so it's either intermittent or it solved it self

That is something I need to check, but I am stuck at work for while longer. How hard is the blend door to access?
