This morning on my way to the office I noticed that the engine had reached middle of the range on temp gage so I was excited to get to turn on the heat and warm myself up. This morning it's 20 degrees where I am at here in Arkansas. The blower motor was replaced few months back and it blowing strong so I am not thinking that it's the issue. 2008 4runner 4x4 sr5 with climate control. Any help or suggestions of stuff to try or check would be more than welcome. Thank you in advance!!!

Please check your coolant level as well.
I've noticed mine is a little squirrely as well on my 07' Limited. I can here the blend door actuator motor incrementally positioning the blend door from Lo to about 72 deg. Then from 72 deg to Hi, I no longer here the actuator motor working. Since this is a electronic climate control system with thermistor , I'm wondering if that has something to do with it. I do have heat though, so no complaints out of me up here in Chicago. I'll dink around with it in the spring!

I just tried my heater for the first time since I bought the care and it is only blowing cold air as well. Did this problem stay resolve? I know my blend door makes a sound for about 10 seconds every time I start the vehicle up. My fear is its a heating core. The black tubes going into the firewall get hot when I let it idle.
