I needed to replace the mic so my blue tooth phone calls would work so at the same time I completed the "blue wire" mod for my power antenna. I added the antenna switch to the switch panel I made for ditch lights, rear lights, and a light bar.

Replaced the alternator that I replaced 4 months ago. Hope this one lasts longer.

Thanks for the info - I replaced the starter a couple of week ago with a Denso from Rock Auto. If/when this alternator dies I'll go with a Denso. I'm going to add that info to my 4Runner notes on my phone.

I sure wish I had your skill - 3 hrs so far, electrical connections off - and brake lines loose - can't get the lower starter bolt to budge. I haven't even found the upper bolt yet. (I wasn't trying to be a smart a** - I just don't see an easier way. (Mine is 4wd by the way.)
