Thanks everyone!!! I also noticed last night that it not only does it when starting, but after I turn it off and open my door it will make the same nose, almost like some engages then disagrees..hmmmm

First time having a push button start.. It doesn't seem to have any issues but I'm curious if it normally makes a "buzz" type sound right before starting? To me it almost sounds like it's going to short out, but it never has a problem connecting, etc! I will have 3000 miles left on basic...

Well I found out my making a few calls, the tires were put on in 2009, they are all season, 60,000 mile tires. The car had around 38,000 and now it has close to 100,000 so I bet it was more than likely the tires!

My 4Runner looks just like yours So does it automatically stay on unless you physically switch it off? How do I know if mine is on/off? Sorry to sound so stupid .. I honestly never had a truck with all these choices!
