Is the dot on purpose? I thought it was just because the light came off the gauge -- I always thought it was weird.

I test drove the Venza AWD V6 and it was like driving a saucy station wagon, though elegant interior. The highlander drove better than the Venza, but not as sure-footed as the V8 4x4 4runner. I just was curious about those two vehicles, I am very glad I went with 4R. I guess Im a 4Runner guy!

I've noticed twice now that my Gen 4 limited 4Runner never warns me when my fuel is low. The trip computer says it has 33 miles until empty and no warning light. I know it's getting empty, but isn't there a waring light like most modern cars?

Anyone have any ideas for some easy going trails or light off road adventures? Im not too courageous when it comes to taking the runner of road... But I need to get out and explore? All ideas welcome ;-)

I wonder if the new 4.6 Toyota engine will have a timing chain.... Im glad I got my V8 when I did, it's sooo smooth!

They took away the V8 option on the 4runner in CA. When I was shopping for mine, I noticed the lack of availability for the air suspension in my area. A call to 5 major dealers in the Los Angeles area led to no results of a V8 4x4. What gives!

I can't find a V8 4x4 Limited 4runner anywhere in CA! Online, I did the Configure My 4Runner on toyota.com and the V8 doesn't even show up as an option. Has Toyota discontinued the V8 4runner? Does that make our V8's any more valuable :P

I did check the gas cap, it's on tight. Maybe a computer has to be replaced.>?

I went out to my 4runner to go to dinner and when I started it, all the dash lights were on. Check Engine, VSC, and a bunch of other orange lights that I cant remember. I tried restarting and the same problem. But it drives ok. Anybody experience this? Should I totally be worried, my 4R only...

Please Call Toyota at the 800 # and file a complaint. This is HORRIBLE that it would do that at all.

I'll bet that's why BMW has refused to change their gauges.
