Test Drove the Venza and Highlander, LOVE MY 4RUNNER MORE NOW!

I test drove the Venza AWD V6 and it was like driving a saucy station wagon, though elegant interior.

The highlander drove better than the Venza, but not as sure-footed as the V8 4x4 4runner.

I just was curious about those two vehicles, I am very glad I went with 4R.

I guess Im a 4Runner guy!

From what i hear, Toyota AWD systems are not all that good...there are better AWD systems out there, esp. those from Subarus. I would not pony extra $$ for Toyota's AWD system. Their 4x4 system, on the other hand, is excellent.

A couple years ago, my Mother in Law jumped from a Grand Cherokee to a 2WD Highlander. So far, she loves it. Granted, she doesn't offroad it.

I sold my 01 Subaru wagon because it did not handle the snow as well as my 1st 03-4Runner 4x4. Don't get me wrong, I liked the Subaru but the 4Runner kicks butt in the snow and ice here in Alaska. So I bought another 4Runner to replace the Subaru. It just handles better. Lock that 4x4 in and GO anywhere!
