1988 22RE W/ 5-SPEED. Pulling the transmission for clutch replacement and the fin that is bolted to the engine to support the transmission on the pass side broke in half. Anyone have one or a parts car they could pull from? Or is it a part that can be purchased somewhere? Need to get this girl...

I finally got a chance to hook up the ammeter today and while checking the fuses power suddenly came back. She started up fine, went to grocery store and when I came out she was dead as nails. Went and jiddled/pushed down the fuse that seemed to cause power to come back, and sure enough power...

Howdy T4R! Monday I'm picking up my first 4Runner. It's an '88, manual, 22R-E, and has 240,000 miles. Next Friday I'm going to take her out on our first date to the mountains. Overall she's pretty clean and in good shape, some minor issues to work out. Hopefully I'll learn a lot on these...
