Anyone know how to go about removing the stock hitch on a 2003 runner? Mine has a bad case of being really rusted, and I just want to get the thing off. I can only see two bolts (one behind each loop for the trailer chains), which I wrestled off, but I know there has got to be more under the rig...

I have over 280k on my runner, x-reas still going strong. Now I'm kind of surprised though, I live in Canada, and the roads I drive on are usually salty as all get-out.

The other day I saw a truck rolling around with it makes emblem replaced with an autobots logo. Has anyone seen these for the 4runners? If so where can they be bought? I'm starting to get a little worried people wont know I'm a nerd while I'm driving around ha.

The wheels look sick, what type of plasti-dip did you use? and did you prep the wheels a certain way before you sprayed them?

Can the turn signal socket be easily removed from the vehical? or is it easiest to try and clean it while it dangling under the 4runner?

Hey, the paints been chipping off my stock rims. So with the winter season coming up and those rims coming off, I figured I could spiff them up with a little paint. But I'm not too sure on a few things. Can I sand blast the stockies? (they are aluminium, right?) has anyone painted theirs...

I've got the same problem. My rotors look like sandpaper with all the crud on them. If you have the same problem I do the best bet is probably to get new rotors, new pads wouldn't be a terrible idea either.

I have the V6 in my '03, by far one of the most reliable motors I've had. 263000 Km and still going strong :hatsoff:, I find it really strong running and peppy too, but then again, almost anything is peppier then my previous vehicals, 1.1L rx-7 and a 1.8L jetta

I cant find the rear window fuse in the panel, is it labeled under some other accessories circuit?

I just replaced my tail gate locking motor, but now my back window wont go up or down, and the rear wiper kicked the bucket as well. Anyone ever have this problem? or have any suggestions to fix?

I replaced the front tie rod ends and ball joints. although the lights where on before that:wtf:. The previous owner might have had some work done on it that could have thrown the sensor off.
