We cleared the code with the scanner and it came right back on. TPS meter on the scanner constantly read 0 no matter how far down the pedal was pushed. Bad part. Put the original back on and ordered a Toyota OEM online.

I replaced the TPS on my 2000 4Runner. Turned the engine on and the light came back on. Is it normal for the light to come back on when you replace the sensor?

I am at 100,000 miles on my 4Runner. Yesterday while getting an oil and tranny fluid change and new plugs, the dealer said I should think about getting the injectors and air intake cleaned. Is this really necessary? What exactly do they do to clean the injectors?

I have a 2000 4Runner. Last night I started experiencing an intermitent problem where it is slow to turn over then once it turns over and you put it into drive it is very slow to pull out. This only happens when I experience the slow turn over when starting the motor. Any ideas?

I have the sunroof but it is not that. I was wondering if it was maybe a wire harness or something as it also sounds like it slides around as well. It is directly above the drivers head.

Something in the headliner is rattilng and can get a little annoying, especially on bumpy roads. What is up thre that could rattle? It is right above the drivers seat.

I had new tires installed on my 4Runner. It is a 2000 SR% and came with the factory upgrade of P265 70 R16. Now when I make a right hand turn I hear a scraping noise. It is metal to metal as the wheel spins. Is it possible the brake shield got loosened and is now rubbing on the rotor?

I get the exact same mileage with my 2000 SR5 with 91,000 miles. One mile pergallon less than I got with my 2wd, 4cyl. Ford Ranger with 44,000 miles.
