I'm thinking of buying the above mentioned vehicle.It has what appears to be,serious transmission problems.Is the manual tranny in this vehicle hard to find or very different from a transmission from a gas model?I'd like to buy it but don't want to get too financially attached to it.

Its definitely been a while.I bought the truck last year for a winter beater and haven't done anything to the engine besides change oil.I'm not sure what the maintenance history is.I was just wondering where to start looking without replacing a bunch of parts.Its run great all winter up till now.

I have a 92 and there are two male spade terminals on the lowers corner on the drivers side of the glass.

I just replaced the motor on my tailgate with one from a 93 Camry.Took a chance because they looked the same,the only difference was the plug which was an easy fix.20bucks for an NOS Toyota motor in the box,can't complain about that.Done.

I found a complete tailgate with glass on a 91 4Runner but need to know how to lower the glass without battery power.I'm not familiar with any manual system.Is there an easy way to do this?

I've pulled the inside cover off and can watch the linkage move as I lift the glass.I was just hoping that there was a cheap fix for this.My understanding is that the assembly is pricey.There aren't alot of donor vehicles where I live.

I've got a 92 4Runner and the rear glass doesn't go up or down.The motor turns both ways but nothing happens.I can't see the drive gear on the motor to see if its turning the regulator.Does this sound like a regulator problem?

I've got a 92 4Runner with 472000 kms on it.Not sure of the specific mechanical history on this beast but it still all works....except the rear window.

My heater only works on high speed.Is there a resistor block that has failed? What would cause this?The selector switch goes through all positions but does nothing except at the high position.It's a 92 4Runner with air conditioning.
