I replaced the drivers door lock actuator but I can't manage to get the "propeller" from the key cylinder to align with the actuator. It extends beyond the actuator and when sliding the actuator in it moves the propeller/rod out of the way. Any suggestions on how to make this happen would be...

Thanks is there any chance that the cv is bad? I'm worried about regreasing/sealing and finding out the hard way that the CV is at the end of its service-life (approx 98k miles). I do hear slight clicking in reverse (even with greased stops) and a hum/slight vibe when driving.
