Greetings everyone. My 2006 has a very weird vibration type sound but only under certain RPMs. Could it be my catalytic converter has gone bad? I want to give my husband some ideas before he rolls himself underneath to check things out. No other issues with my vehicle. Just hit 200K miles...

Silly me. I just found the search function. I don't forum too goods. :D I rolled the rear glass all the way down and back up again and now it works. Thanks.:kiss:

Has anyone had this issue before? Both the rear defog and wiper/washer have stopped working. I just checked both fuses, (#14 dash, #19 engine compartment) and they are both good. Can anyone give me an idea of what to troubleshoot next? Mahalo. :banana:

Where can I source the 2kw starter? Dealership? O'Reilly's? I have a USB voltage meter in my cigarette lighter port. I'll have to pay closer attention to the voltage before I tackle replacing the starter. Thank you for the reply.

2006 4Gen SR5 V6 with 170k miles. Battery is new. I turn the key and hear a hard clicking sound (not the soft clicking sound when the battery is weak. After about 3 or 4 hard clicks, the 4R starts up no issue. The hard clicking sound is worrisome though. Could this be the starter? Anything...

As loud as the click is I'll assume from the starter but am currently unsure. I'll have to put a set of ears under the hood to check.

Vehicle: 2006 4Runner SR5, V6, 150k miles. Symptoms: I turn the key and get a loud clicking noise. I turn the key again and then it starts. It has a new and fully charged battery. How can I diagnose whether or not I have a bad starter motor, starter solenoid, starter switch or starter...

Anything specific I need to know when changing rotors and pads (front and rear)? This is the first time I'm attempting this maintenance myself as I'm tired of paying for shoddy service. I have a 2006 SR5 V6. I'm also new to this forum thingy so ....... :whistle:
