New 22 re is stumbling and generally not having much power under a load. Engine code came up 51 something about the TPS but it's confusing to me, has anyone run across this code before? What's the next step start testing the TPS with a voltmeter?

ok so I'm an idiot, timing was spot on... but 180 degrees off. We assumed the motor came from the factory at TDC but it was TDC of the exhaust stroke. Motor's running great now

I've got an 88 4runner with the 3VZE engine. Engine is having troubles... it MIGHT be a blown head gasket but there's a good chance it's more. The motor has 310,000 on it so I'm thinking the best option is to go for a new motor. Are there any easy conversions or should I go for another 3VZE...

The passenger seat on my 88 4runner is jammed. It tilts back and forth, but will not slide forward. It's not a big deal but it makes it a pain for anyone to get into the back seats. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing this? Thanks Eric
