Joe B., looking around the Corvette in a fog, basking in the glory on how he and the pres bailed out this company to produce such a wonderful car. He probably wasn't taking into account the $10 billion dollar loss the US taxpayer took on the deal. But GM is profitable again. Well, if I could write off a $10 billion dollar loss, I would be too.

The government owns GM. As well as a LOT of other companies it has bailed out. But us taxpayers don't see any of the profits. Just taxes and inflation.

The government sold all of the gm stock it owned in December.
