Just finished up refreshing my 01 Sport. List of everything done.
Steer rack bushings
inner tie rods with new boots (OEM)
outer tie rods (OEM)
front lower control arm bushings (OEM)
sway bar bushing
wheel bearings (OEM)
new cvs's (NAPA)
lower ball joints (OEM)

Light Racing Upper Control Arms (included new upper ball joints)
Toytec Boss Coilovers
Toytec Superflex Coils
Bilsteins Long Travel rear Shocks
Trail Ready Beadlocks with Red Stadium Rings
Goodyear 285/70/17 MT/R's

Going to get an alignment this afternoon. Can't wait to start driving it again.

Not crazy about the rims but a clean black 3rd gen sport is a killer looking truck to me. The epitome of a 4Runner.

I agree that the wheels aren't for everyone. The red stadium rings add a big bling factor. I love them though and can't wait to see how low I can go on psi.

Very nice! I need to go through and refresh all of that on my 01 as well. Nice work. I actually dig the beadlocks in a purposeful functional sort of way. If you use them for what they are for, they will be well worth it I think. Very nice! Good job.

I have to respectfully disagree. I personally like to see a ring of another color to separate the black tire from the black wheel. That's why I painted my fake beadlocks green. But to each their own.

I know. To each their own. I do think those wheels black with the red beadlocks would look good though.

Zero PSI, LOL. I can run 5-10psi all day on 16x7 rims with no bead lock. Those things wont need air.

Just tell the cop they're fake. Of course the emissions people (if you have to get them) might give you crap unless you have spare set to use for the test. Seeing the tread that people drive on on a daily basis, I would be POed if they gave me grief for that.

I don't think I will have any issues. I have friends running them in Denver and the Police are a lot more strict up there than in the Springs, or at least that is were I have gotten all of my 'petty' tickets.

Luckily I am in El Paso County and we don't do emissions testing.

I was also able to get Discount to work on them. I just brought in the wheels and have them mounted at the shop, took them home and put them on. They didn't seem to have a problem since they weren't putting them on the truck, but YMMV.

Well your luck is better than mine! My wife drives a JK on 40's and Walker Evans beadlocks and I just got new tires last week, can't find anyone that will mount them up for me, I've done my own beadlocks before, just didn't feel like breaking my back over a set of 40's if I could help it! Tried 4wp, Discount Tire on 8th street, Discount Tire on Woodmen, Rex Tire on Colorad, Big O Tire in Woodland Park (where I live) and Firestone downtown. Even told all of them I would bring the tires and wheels in the bed of my truck, nobody would touch them! I heard yesterday that Predator4x4 has done them in the past but haven't called yet. Probably just gonna do them myself this weekend!

Your 4Runner looks great by the way, love the Trail Readys, those were the last set I had before the Walkers, they are a great wheel!

What's their reasoning? They don't have the right machine or legality issues? How do they know it's not a trailer queen?
