03-05 front turn signal led bulb

So I'm looking at changing the front turn signal bulbs. I read that they are 4157 size and when I search on eBay for that it comes up with 3157 and read that they are the same thing basically and fit. Do I need the regular 3157 led or the ck 3157 led. I heard some if not most toyota vehicles use the ck led one and I can't seem to find that anywhere. Or anywhere cheap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ashton, F.A.Q. has a lot of good info on led conversions (4157 and 3157 are compatible) and how to check for ck or not. I do not believe the front turn signals are ck bases BUT I've never tested them so you should before ordered... you'll need a dmm to check for polarity like the video below...

Where can I find that tool he was using. I searched for dmm meter but couldn't find the kind he was using. Any cheap ones at autozone I could use.

home depot, lowes, advance auto parts, oreilly's or even harbor freight would likely have one... sears may even have one.

you don't necessarily need a digital multimeter (dmm), just something that will show a live circuit
